I have added this page as a place for people to put general comments about my work; things they like, things they don’t like. Techniques that they have tried and that have worked really well or thing that they think I could try out.
If comments are about a specific post feel free to add them there instead.
I love to hear what people think as it helps me to improve my work, and one of the great things about photography is sharing stories about where you have been and what you have taken.
There is also a suggestions and request page for artwork that people think would look really good, or things that they would like me to try my hand at. I can’t promise that I will get around to doing all of the suggestions but I would certainly be interested to read them.

I love your Christmas Cards Ian. I especially like the one of the Cam at night with the puts all moored up. It is so atmospheric and makes Cambridge look very mysterious and romantic. I tried to take some many photos like this of the Christmas lights along the Seine- but was not so patient as you at capturing the perfect lighting. I also love your cobweb- the colours are so beautiful and magical!
It makes me so excited about Christmas already- hopefully we’ll have more lwonderful snow this year to capture in beautiful photos
